Pallet wrap also known as stretch wrap is used for protecting pallets to keep goods secure whilst being transported or when moving goods around the warehouse. It is also less common but recently more often used when moving house or when storing furniture as it holds doors and drawers closed, the action of stretching the pallet wrap as it is applied and then as it shrinks it gently tightens its hold. Pallet wrap sticks to itself and does not leave a sticky residue when removed, it does not damage furniture.

Palletwrap is classed as lowtack adhesive as it does not stick to anything but itself, it is unlikely to leave any sticky residue which packing tapes will. Using rolls of palletwrap to wrap around wardrobes or secure the drawers in cabinets, simply wrap the palletwrap around your furniture, overlap and stick the tail end to the dispensing end and press together. Once sealed, release more of the stretchwrap and pull to stretch it (do not overstretch as it may tear) then whilst under pressue, walk around the item, repeat the stretch and walk around and then tear the palletwrap and seal the end, by simply applying pressure. By stretching the palletwrap it will not shrink (hence the other term shrinkwrap) tightening the stretchwrap and securing you wardrobes and drawer cabinets safely, ready to transport.
